Excellent opportunity for a mid-level Associate with circa 3-6 years PQE to join the high profile commercial litigation team of a leading Scottish law firm- this role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Role Profile:
- Dealing with all commercial litigation/dispute resolution matters for a range of clients.
- Handling all relevant commercial litigation transactions as directed by the Dispute Resolution Partners, including Court of Session and Sheriff Court litigation, Lands Tribunal and Land Court cases, Planning Inquiries, Arbitrations, Mediations, and ADR hearings.
- All relevant Court, Tribunal and other appearances, including as necessary instruction of Counsel.
- All relevant drafting of court and other tribunal pleadings, and otherwise as required.ms.
- Preparation and updating of relevant litigation styles.
- Supervision and management of less experienced team members, including trainees.
- Supporting the Dispute Resolution Partners in business development initiatives and activities, including attending events organised for such purposes.
- Preparation and presentation of seminars and training as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Circa 3-6 years PQE.
- Background in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
- Excellent organisation skills.
