Corporate Lawyer 4+ PQE

Leading UK law firm is looking to hire a Corporate Lawyer to join their high-ranking team. The role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow and the firm are interested in speaking with Associate and Senior Associate level lawyers. 

A leading Scottish law firm is seeking an ambitious Corporate/ Corporate Finance Associate/Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside market-leading partners on some of Scotland's most significant and complex transactions, advising a diverse client base ranging from entrepreneurial businesses and high-growth companies to private equity houses, financial institutions and multinational organisations. The team is consistently involved in high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions and has earned an outstanding reputation within the Scottish legal market.

Role Profile:

You will advise clients across a broad range of corporate matters including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side transactions).
  • Private equity and venture capital investments.
  • Corporate restructurings and reorganisations.
  • Joint ventures and shareholder arrangements.
  • Corporate governance and company law advisory work.
  • Management buy-outs and buy-ins.
  • Capital raising and investment transactions.
  • General commercial and strategic corporate advice.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Approximately 4+ years' PQE gained within a recognised corporate team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate and company law.
  • Experience advising on M&A and corporate transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
