Boutique firm in Edinburgh is looking to hire a senior level private client lawyer to join their team at Legal Director or Senior Associate level.
Role Profile:
- Manage their own case load and play an active role in an expanding department.
- The private client team undertake all aspects of private client work including wills, powers of attorney, executries, trusts, estate planning and cost of care advice.
- You will focus on delivering quality legal advice to clients across the spectrum of private client work.
- The private client department comprises four solicitors and five support staff. The team currently operates from our office in Edinburgh’s West End, with our office in Glasgow available for client meetings.
Candidate Requirements:
- Circa 10 years PQE and a strong background in private client law, with a focus on wills, powers of attorney and executries;
- This is a 'client facing' role so candidates should have excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic and approachable.
- Ideally you will be STEP qualified but this is not essential and the firm would also be prepared to fund this qualification.
