Leading national law firm is looking to hire a junior real estate lawyer to join their highly respected commercial property team based in Glasgow.
Role Overview:
- The Real Estate team provides a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of commercial property to an excellent and diverse client base.
- This role is an opportunity to join an innovative and high performing, busy team in a client facing role.
- The real estate team advise on a broad range of commercial property work including landlord & tenant; sales & purchases; property management; real estate finance/security; corporate real estate support and cross border real estate support.
- Clients range from major retailers, leisure operators, funders, renewable energy providers and healthcare providers. We have been involved in a range of projects from multi-million-pound development finance deals to smaller bespoke ventures.
Role Profile:
- Manage your own caseload of Real Estate cases.
- Provide support to other members of the team.
- Draft and prepare various real estate documents.
- Liaise with internal and external parties.
- Supervise and develop more junior members of staff as may be required.
Candidate Requirements:
Ideally you will have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We also require you to have/be;
- Circa 2+ PQE and a background in real estate/ commercial property.
- Excellent team work skills.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Experience of and keen interest in real estate work.
